Dependable Shapes
Dependable Shapes explores imbalances between obligation, productivity, and human connection. Through a progression of mundane gestures, a pair of dedicated workers depend on each other for basic needs in order to complete the task at hand. As roles shift between the supporter and the supported, communication breaks down and focus dissolves. How do our responsibilities towards one another both disrupt and strengthen our capacity for productivity? What does it mean to be truly self-sufficient? How can communication effectively adapt to evolving relationships and conditions?
